Here is the dilemma Christian leaders often face. People are:
Uninvolved
A few people do everything. The rest, who may or may not show up, on Sundays, are resistant to being involved.
Club Mentality
A few set the rules and are in control. Other ideas or types of people are not wanted. Play by their rules or stay out.
Disconnected
Christianity is a performance at specific times of the week and year but does not flow over to become a lifestyle.
What this points to is the need for members to:
- Understand what it means to live like Jesus Christ.
- State what it means for them to live like Jesus Christ.
- Renew their love connection with God.

I am a former pastor, a seasoned Christian educator, spiritual mentor and coach. Having prepared curriculum for all levels within the church, I enjoyed preparing this study for you.
When it comes to this discipleship study, “Connected: Living Like Christ in Love,” I have prepared and teach these lessons with love and a commitment to follow Christ’s teachings to make disciples.
I love nothing more than seeing people come to know God in Jesus and live in full surrender to God. I believe that this is what you want for you and your group.
