Shownotes: Living from God’s Center

Soar from God's Center

This podcast is supporting you to live from God’s center which is more important than all responsibilities and expectations.

God’s center is that place of deep connection with God, deep intimacy.  It is going to God without an agenda in total honest, heart surrender as you enter in and savor God’s presence and rest in it, emerging with confidence, peace and joy after you have waited, listened to the Lord, and received God’s direction and assurance.

It is leaving aside stress and fatigue and frustration and even burnout and embracing Isaiah 40:27–31 (NRSV):

Why do you say, O Jacob,
    and speak, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
    and my right is disregarded by my God”?
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
    his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
    and strengthens the powerless.
Even youths will faint and be weary,
    and the young will fall exhausted;
but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
    they shall walk and not faint.

There are different types of ministry in and out the church. The term, “pastors and ministry leaders” refers to anyone leading in any of those situations. The podcast around living from God’s center is designed with you in mind.

Those who simply desire more of God will find gems here as well.

In the upcoming episodes we will:

  • Look at aspects of living from God’s center and end each one with a practical tip, or two.
  • In some episodes we will interview pastors and ministry leaders on their living from God’s center journey and hear the advice they will give us for this journey.
  • From time to time I will discuss a book or other resources with you that relate to living from God’s Center .

This is your podcast. As such, please feel free to send me topic suggestions or questions. I will do my best to incorporate them in the podcast. I may have to tweak them a little but will do everything I can to include your suggestions. One caveat—it must be related to living from God’s center, nourishing our inner person.

This “Living from God’s Center Podcast” will be coming to you every Monday. It will last approximately between 15 and 20 minutes.
